Even though the Auvergne in France isn’t very well known internationally, it has a beautiful skiing area. On the slopes of the Puy de Sancy (1850 m), located at a 10 minute drive from Hotel Les Fleurs, you will find a skiing centre suitable for the entire family with about 40 cable cars/chairlifts and 100 km of ski runs.
Everywhere in the region you see ski cross-country, the so-called ski de fond, for which 300 km of runs have been made. On and around the ski runs you can also go for a walk on rackets (raquettes). In February the yearly ‘Jazz in the Snow’ Festival takes place in La Bourboule and Le Mont Dore. We have facilities for the storage of your skiing equipment available and materials for the children to play in the snow with. Apre ski in our Blue Bar belongs to the best in the region!
